oh...lol is that it... I will go put a bucket out now so it will be nice and green by time i get any fry..... Thanks alL! will the greenwater not go stagnant and smell rotten and kill the fry? We are out in the country......so the amount of mozzies we have here are huge! they will probably lay eggs in the water? is this ok 2 feed fry? or will the mozzy babies eat them? LOL

Please don't laugh if this is a thick question lol :lol: But what is green water? how do u make it, and how do you feed it to fry? I am starting up siamese fighters and Iv been reading its the best thing 2 start them on as they are so tiny......... Thanks! :oops:

Hi All, These are my 2 tanks I plan to put my 2 males in.(1 in each) The tank on the left doesn't have a sponge filter yet but will be going to get one for it 2day as the filter makes the current to strong in their. Tank on the right was planted last night, are those bubbles to big? or does this set up look ok? My 2 females will be in my 140L planted tank with my 13 guppies Let me know what you think and if ther could be any improvements made Cheers!

Yay! Thanks soooooo much Ron!!! I now have 2 Yellow CT female and 2 CT Males!! All from Ron Can't wait to get these guys and gals home! YIPPEEEE(Can you tell im excited?) hehe :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: I ended up getting 2 sleep at 4am as I was to excited to sleep LOL

sadly I lost the aqua strain, they all pretty much died in the first week, they were all old and decreped to start with :evil: Got 4 bluegrass female due soon.

1 of my snakeskin albino and 1 of my blond albino are busy dropping fry So far I count 28 :D Heaps more on their way woohoo! Won't be long till my blue grass females drop, they are looking so huge!!!!!

mmm same thing happed to some of my guppies when I first got them from the northisland, I think it was stress related from the trip, as they would just colapse on the floor and start tipping to their sides, also only were males doing that...... He could also just be resting? Hope he is ok

Guppies have very little stomachs so they need to be fed tiny amounts a few times a day. I feed them 3 times a day, little bits at a time to make sure they eat it all. Water changes are really important especially when you are still figuring out exactly how much they can consume at a time. Don't worry you'll get the hang of it Enjoy them

have u checked amonia levels? are you over feeding? are they with any other fish?

yes we have the same problem! Luckly we have an underground spring at the speights brewery that is free to use so we get water from there. its about 7.6 pH so we usually do a mix with our rain water and it is pretty stable at about 7.2

I have blonde Albino, and Snakeskin Albino... I have tried taking photo's before, its so darn hard becuase the light reflects off there bright bodies and makes a big bright blurr lol..... :lol:

got 2 preg females I think, they have a tiny gravid spot so early stages. Will try get some photo's. My Blond guy look like his sides have been painted with off white paint(slightly yellow) he is stunning. Can't wait for my first batch!

Hi All I just got 2 Golden/albino bristles to match my guppies Will post photo soon!! Not sure if male or female but the one is starting to get bristles so im guessing that means its a boy?
