  4. March is a odd time for baby's. One of the 2 baby's usually die. We and other keeps we know have never had 2 survive. How many does he have? We need to make the captive gene pool bigger...IE swap some gecko's

  6. http://www.reptiles.org.nz/index.php?pa ... -husbandry They are not like other reptiles, they are not ones to be handled and you dont get much response from them(apart from a blank look) Speaking of gecko's, a baby popped out today 8)
  7. You sure? Often they are quite dark in the pet shops as they are stressed

  10. The wooden cage has a metal bottom with small holes it in. Doesnt collect water at all. Metal cage is raised. Find gecko's like to be in the bottom at times and thats where you find the young ones after they have been born. Make sure you use metal mesh not the plastic stuff and place chicken mesh over top to protect it. Small holes = escaping food = FAIL
  11. $200 worth of Metal Halide bulbs(70w 10k and 150w 6k), a few air pumps, fluro bulbs and some food are all boxed up and waiting to be picked up by the courier. $300+ worth of stuff in that one box. Up to you Mark what you do with the pumps and fluro's.

    Bud the cat killer?
  13. The plants dont get much light in the cages in winter + the plants get root bound and the plants die. They get new plants at least once a year. The wooden cage has recently been pulled apart and rebuilt. Id love to make another nicer enclosure for them- But time  Almost that time of year for baby gecko's I think id rather lep gecko's to be honest, as you can handle them more and get some $$ back if you breed them
  14. Drop a pile of eels in there
