Its a 38L aqua nova tank Cant put it under due to the design of the bottom(plastic runners and other bits) Dont see why its any better under the tank? Can run it under the sand as its a bare bottom tank We have many heat pads from growing plants but they are not suitable. Spose i need a element and a rheostat? Electric blanket element and find a rheostat somewhere?

Anyone made one for their tank? I want to make one and fix it to the back of one of my tanks and then place insulation over the element. Sick of the huge heater in my 38L tank. Id like to learn on this tank so i can do it on my next tank
