    AR380 to marine

Well this is my first posting in the marine section. Marines are something that i have thought about keeping but usually as far as it goes. Well that i hope might change . I have a AR380 38 litre tank with the built in filter and light . I have seen that Jansens and Hollywoods in Auckland do sell these as marine tanks. Can it really be done as i have always thought especically with marines that you really need a large tank. If so as i have never set up a marine tank Where do i Start ??? Advice would be apreciated as i will rather do things right rather than go into it completly green . Thanks Dave
  23. The Waikato Aquarium Socitey is planning a weekend trip around the BOP region in October . Looking at the weekend of 15th & 16 or 22nd & 23rd of October. On the Saturday we are going to travel from Hamilton to Rotorua then though to Whakatane. We are going to spend the night at Awakeri hot pools in Whakatane . Then on the Sunday go though Tauranga then back to Hamilton . At this stage we are mainly looking at shops but i see this as an oppinunity to meet others that are interested in the hooby of fishkeeping. So basically what i am asking is Two things . Firstly any suggestions of places that are worth visting while we are in the area???? . Secondly as i said we are always keen to meet others interested in the hobby so if there are breeders or other fishy people in the bay of plenty area can we come for a vist . Any ideas for this trip are appreciated Feel free to PM myself , Rob , Hands , or Pologara Dave
  24. We have an auction at this months club meeting Our mid year tank crawl is on sunday 18/09/05
