    Um... Just letting you know, Red empress and Rams have quite different water requirements, and its likely that the Rams, being the smallest species will get picked on and killed by the slightly more aggressive red empress(i dont know anything about red empress, but this is a general rule with rift lake cichlids)

    Why did you put the dad with them? He probably wont like the confined space, you oculd just put a airstone under the breeding net

    Minus the kribs 8) Wait..On second thoughts, that would be quite a bad idea unless they were all one sex or young ones. Its reccomended to have only one pair per 2foot .

    You sure its a dwarf flag? I have had 2 Blue rams in the past that have a stripe going lonways instead of a spot both from animate :-? and saw 2 more the other day.

    Im pretty sure they are still on the import list, but you just have to find someone to track some down and import them. If i could i would get a few brazilian ones too
