With 6 7cm discus in his 170L tank how often would waterchanges bee needed?

yea the 1 by bunnings. there were atleast 3 left after i got mine. but thats all i could see, there was a log tunnel thing i the tank and there could have been one or 2 in there.

Well i only bought them today as they were cheap and they are only 3-4cm and thought they would be alright in this size tank. I have a 60L tank with a few small fish in it but i think the gravel is 2 sharp.

The fighter tank is only 16L. Would they be alright in here with him until my 230L is setup within the next 2 weeks?

I got 2 3-4cm hoplos 4 $5 with a $10animates voucher i just got and $5. They are having a buy one get one free weekend and the hoplos are $15. At the moment i have them floating in my 60L overstocked community tank :-? . Should i leave them in here? Or can they go with a male fighter? Or will they nip his fins?

What makes it even worse is the way our house is facing, all the south walls in the house that have enough room for tanks get about 6hours of suinlight a day.

Get bio-chem zorb. It removes tannins from water and last 3 months. A friend of mine used it and now the water is clear

You could get someone else to raise the fry.

we had one of these and it cracked after a month.
