I did quite alot of reading , they were together in the tank for about 4days then at the end of the 4th day every fin of hers had bites out of it and he was breathing heavily and just looked beat up. so i removed her.
I have 2 breeding pairs of angelfish, they used to spawn frequently but they have layed eggs for 2-3months now. I am now setup with live food and ready to give it another go, How can i encourage them to spawn again?
she was getting really beaten up and losing fins so i put her in a hatchery seperated from the other 2 small females i have and this morning found hundereds of eggs in the bottom of the hatchery. is this normal? She isnt so fat now.
Ok im going to seperate all neons and glowlights, then do a 40-50% waterchange on main tank. And see what happens from there. And in the mean time i will start cycling my new tank from scratch.
