When i setup my reef(in a couple years) I will definatley get some bangais ive always liked them.

As a last resort. Well if wass killing your expensive pets and couldnt scare it away what would you do?

youd advise shooting it?

If its a NZ one, Catch/Trap it and release somewhere else?

If its not can it be shot?

I have a 20L tank with a thin layer on sand and a clump of java moss in the middle. I plan on Putting a sponge filter in it and some peat. And try to spawn some cardinal tetras. I have a small group of 6 at the moment,at a good size. Im going to try get a ph around 6. The main thing i need to know is what kind of food would be best for the different sizes? I want to get a good stock of livefood etc before i try this. And how long will it take with good feeding for them to be able to eat crushed frozen bloodworms?And how long until the fry can have light? Please i dont need and i dont want any 'try something easier first' comments as that was all i got last time.So please dont. Im really only wanting to breed enough to geta nice we school for a 4foot tank.

Malayan trumpet snails are best for the planted tanks IMO.

What other fish are in there mystic? I can see hoplo,tiger barb,clown loach, big plattie? What else?

Yea but i wouldnt want one with 6mm glass at 50cm high, ITs not going to be the safest tank is it? Ive already got a twin 3foot t8 unit and will be getting a twin 4foot something so lights sorted, and i can make the stand.

The tank is 500mm tall, and has 6mm reinforced glass. Is this thick enough?

If you get a new piece it will leech more tannins and make ph drop lower. Will you be posting pics of the tank?

hahaha, I have small particle in my tank at the moment and when i get close to the tank they are big :-? Probably caused by the airstone right under the filter :roll:
