  1. Well they may live in freshwater OK but they will thrive in brackish and could grow to up to 3cm+.
  2. If you do get some more keep them in a vrackish tank as that is where they are supposed to be.

    Why the would you prefer the balloons? They are just a mutated/deformed inbred strain of the normals and i dont think they look that great either, i have some but they dont look very nice and they arent getting along with my fish.

    I saw some golden balloons today selling as normal goldens at animates, they know nothing. At the same time i saw one of the guys working there sell a bright blue cobalt blue Gourami as a female. :-?
  7. Are you sure? It looks like these can see as they can swim and eat perfectly. and even chase livefood.

  15. It has been done, they just need to be the first tank inhabitants and start at 18 degrees and go up 1 degree every day or 2 till about 25/26 then start adding other fish.

    THats fine, Makes sense, Leopardfish are in a few rivers in north island too, but they breed much slower.
  18. I dont actually have testkits at the moment, So i will keep up daily Waterchanges till i can get it tested, The cardinals are supposed to be moving to their own tank this week.

    I had asked in a a pm for them to ship a couple to me for live axolotl food, i wouldnt release them but still, I have changed the PM. so none wll be coming down this way
  20. I have a group of 6 Cardinal tetras in 70L community tank. They have been fighting(chasing and a little biting) recently with each other and the 2 red phantom tetras. I have just notices white marks on the sides of 2 cardinal and it looks like a couple scales sticking out, COuld this be a result of fighting or something worse?
