you would need a tank that is atleast 4foot long if you intend to keep them for a few years, if your tanks smaller than this then i wouldnt get clown loaches as your tanks already stocked up and they like to swim around alot

i got 3 of them and they only came out a few times a day, i went back the next day and got another 2 and they were happy as and spent all day chasing each other around the tank. iv had them in my 8ft tank for almost a year now and they only hide at night when they sleep and will eat food out of my hand!

they are both good brands but they can differ slightly in terms of brightness becuase of the way the bulbs are made and what they are made from etc. -

dont change the water more than once a week, do not try the products that get rid of cloudy water. i had the same prob when i started my big tank, was cloudy for a month or so then suddenly came clear. try not to disturb the gravel too much, have good filtration and get some filter carbon. theres not much else you can do but wait. and btw frequent water changes just delays the process, the tank just needs to settle.

i got my 8fter into my room through my window! :lol: had to remove the big sheet of glass, then with my older bro on one end and me and my dad on the other.. we pushed and pulled it into the room and slid it onto the stand.
