they would grow way to big for a 3 foot tank and they poop alot. I would say about 3 clown loaches would be ideal for your tank.

Most eels will eat whatever fits in there mouth, if this eel gets big then you MIGHT have problems

the only time i had a problem with cloudy water was when i setup my 8footer and it cleared itself in about a month and now since then its been sweet. but thats likely to be becuase of the fact that i never have sun shining directly into my room. If i had known about the UV things when i setup my tank i most likely would have gotten one.

thats how i do it also, when i 1st tryed to clean it i lost lots of water lol. iv switched to int filters now tho, much easier to clean.

you should of posted this yesterday as i have a spare 1200L ph canister filter and 400L int filter. but now there clean and dont have the beneficial bacteria.

Have recently found out that my green severums have laid eggs under a large bit of bogwood and also in my other tank i have a female angel laying eggs all over the silk plants and a pair of blue rams guarding eggs in a tunnel of java moss. Question is what do i do with the rams? i dont have a spare tank and i dont have a breeding net, should i buy a net and wait for the eggs to hatch and put them in? or just let the parents raise them in the tank with 4 other blue rams, 5 black phantoms and 4 angels?? (am trying to sell the angels so hopefully they will be gone soon)

a filter in a 10L tank would take up room and look ugly, aslong as water is changed every other day theres no need for a filter
