what level of aquarium do these fish swim , also do you think a pair would be ok with rainbows ?
also any more important info i would need to know
My Fire eel eats boiled eggs ! just fed blue tongue boiled egg ,
And eel was begging so i droped a bit in for him and he grabed it, thought it may be an accidental mouthful so tried again and he loves it
i have noticed my scat eats algae ,my bumble bee gobies dont ,
Mollies are good algae eaters, also heard somewhere that florida flagfish ,
can tolerate brackish conditions
fresh (frozen ) prawns etc.. try small crab legs (nice and crunchie)
Have you got a snail population yet ?? (crunchie is good )
introduce salt gradually over a few weeks at first ,
marine salt NOT tonic salt
Figure 8 s are low end brackish
imo
you may have problems with the temp , but may work ,
also puffers may attack them
good fish to cycle brackish tank is mollies (they love it) and thrive
I have tried growing mangroves in my tank ,a few times and each time its failed .ithink they need lots of light . also had a few seed pods which did develop then Scat decided he liked them :roll:
i know some marine people in other countries use mangroves as part of their filter system

i have had dealing with and kept various snakes, lizards in the u.k , and have some good herpetologist freinds .
there is know way you could mistake a iguana for a chinese water dragon

only thing similiar to iguana and chinese water dragons is there colour ,
look completley different imo ,
so what about the monitor lizards ?

from what i heard ,it wasnt only iguana , there were other species involved , i think one was a monitor lizard not 100 on the others .
there is frilled lizards here also .
fluval 303 external filter is that the older round one ?
the rubber o ring can be a pain . if its not put on properly.
you can get cheap hose . from a brewers shop
Fluval pumps seem to last forever 8)
