depends on what fire eel eats i guess ! had him bout year and a half , was a like a peice of spaghetti when i got him . and now he is nearly as thick as a aqua one 300 watt heater :-? . he packed on the pounds when he found out frozen shrimp didnt taste so bad , and eats out of my fingers . i think the trick is to hand feed if you have other bottom dwelling fish etc.. (especcialy bloodworms) once camera is sorted i will send pics do you no what monos they were afrikan (serbae ) :roll:

brackish fish are hard to come by , havent been on lists for a while , i already have some species of brackish

then again dats ,can go brackish :roll: would make a nice brackish tank but i would never be able to buy stock to fill it !

i was actual thinking a large school of tiger barbs

hi i am looking at different options for my 6ft tank ,and iwas thinking a killie community , would like to know where to start , water conditions , species etc... im a killie virgin be gentle

with much thought i have also sold knife , so only will have fire eel

i feed him ,cichlid pellets ,shrimp,

i think if you have lots of hiding places for eel , he will not dig as much , mine is more happy inside a piece of bogwood now ,when he was smaller he would dig ,and you would just see his snout sticking out of gravel . i thought i lost him loads of times !

clown about 14inch , fire eel about 12 inch probably bit bigger not if you keep plants in pots , at present living with tinfoil barbs ,(plant eaters ) which are hopefully sold i would like a school of one species , with a bit of colour

any midwater fish that dont eat plants ,suggestions would be great that can live with these guys i have a 6ft x 2ft x2ft

depends on size of knife , my clown (14inch approx) eats whole shrimp ,small fish , cichlid pellets , large earthworms , my young little asiatic ghost knife (4 inch) , eats bloodworms ,chopped shrimp , chopped earthworms , nearly fooled him into eating freezedried tubifex worms mine come out with the lights on to feed ,
