  1. They are yellow! in the second pic he look a bit dark but it's the dam lights cannot seem to get any good pic's since we put stronger lights in to help with the Algae growth, as they are too bright ! Yes they are breeding well have seen heaps of fry in the tank
  2. LOL We will happily accommodate you ! We sure you will find everything your heart desires and more !!
  3. Once again you are to far from me I have these, Aulonocara jacobfreibergi "lemon Mamalela" = Aulonocara sp. "lemon" Not a recent pic he was only 4cm when we took this picture of him, he now prob 5-6cm now ! okay here a better one
  4. Must admit its fantastic to be able to breed and accommodated for our fish and what's better is the fact the My wife supports me 100% :bounce: Normally need to keep her away From the LPS!
  5. When of to the LPS Both HFF & Animates in our area and they have nothing resembling Giraffes at all Spoke with them and they say they have not ordered any Africans for a while!
  6.  why oh why ?
  7. Better go see might just be fusco's ! ? Oh I wish :-?
  8. Not now....... Got these say 4-5 month ago there were only 2cm when we got them. Have pic's in our photo bucket page 3-4 I think will, get some more pic's soon. They have grown since then. Don't go LPS shopping often so have not seen what they currently have!
  9. Was concerned about that but they are developing very well. As usually we will keep the first batch and grow them to see. Price was a steal so, no complaining on our side ! Got them on the buy 2 get 1 free Deal and then they were at giraffe's prices! :bounce:
  10. Yip they come in with Livingstonii as Giraffes
  11. Our Malawi Eye Biters will be accompany by our Polystigma Cichlids as they are growing up together and their aggression is more or less the same. If things don't work out I will simply the move the Polystigma Cichlids in to a 6f by them selves. Having the tank space to breed the bigger more robust cichlids makes it a lot easier I suppose. Unwanted fry become much wanted and needed food for others. Do know of only a few others that have Polystigma. They have grown since this pic and are now 6-8cm Hope to have some stunning males like this
  12. Dimidiochromis compressicep /Malawi Eye Bitter :bounce: Must admit we did pay a fortune for the 4 adults and they need a BIG tank But they well worth it! Have a few hundred fry but too afraid to let them go want to grow them up and and establish a huge breeding colony for the 8F  Price them from the supplier and they were charging $75 , each at 3-4cm. Great investment see below TM Auction number for previous sale of 4 fry 141060044 Sorry all they are not for sale!! This fish attacks other fish as it in its nature it's a predator in the wild, feeding on mabuna fry BUT it DOESNT actually eat or bite the eyes of its tank mates. so not a community fish!
  13. Will be getting new substrate! they are in the corral rock as well and need them out So the plan is putting all the rock into a 200l drum and putting in the Snail rid ! replacing the substrate with a new lot. then replace the rock from the Snail rid soak ofter its been washed Its our cichlid tank 5f filled with rock to the top I think it going to be a mission. Pity they don't eat Snails
  14. Right......... so boiling them will kill them! and will the snail rid help?
  15. Hi all not sure if this is the place for this but here goes Trumpet snails Do they lay eggs or not? Have too many of them in a tank and will be striping it down to clean it up with Snail Rid. Don't want to boil the corral and Lime Stone as it has algae on it that I would like to keep, but don't want to keep any of the Snails! Any suggestion please ?? Thanks
  16. Fantastic waiting for the pic's :bounce:
  17. He looks a bit sad and a little Sick Hope he gets better they are real cool fish. !
  18. I don't mind happy to put a male into the 8f tank for display  When our clients come over and purchase fish, See your male I can send them to you at a Advertisement cost LOL
  19. Hi I don't often see the trewavasae for sale maybe hold on to them or bring them around for me LOL  Not bad m/f ratios. The Ice blue can be tricky I had a few females that were very blue! Was sure they were males until they had a mouth full. All males sounds like the way to go if you are not wanting to breed.
  20. And some more 8) Kenyi/Lombardoi Maleri Red Peacock Red Empress
  21. Now that a nice RED Zebra you have there I have not seen one that nice in a long time normally they are pale and washed out almost clear in color! Where did you get him from?
