  5. ok i dont have any pics, but ill try and describe it. get a 2.25L coke bottel (or simaler) cut it about a 1/3rd of the way down from the top, and then invert the top back inside the rest of the bottel (depending on the soze of the fosh cut the end of top (the bit with the screw) use a hole punch ont the end (where the to cut bits meet) and use twistie ties to hold to gether. make a few little holes all over the bottel for water movement, put food inside bottel (pleco chips work well) fully submerise the bottel...WAIT... watch the from a distance... more than likely you will catch more than 1 fish, thats why i use the big bottel so there is more water to move in... after you catch some put them in a bucket till you get the one you want and them wamo you have net free catching. the reason i say put the others in a bucket is so that you dont keep catchn the domint fish... hope this helps... if a mod wants me to ill make a CC of this under DIY

  11. ok so i broke my tank last week... As i was transporting it, the spriget in the over flow got stuck in the door and broke it out... The break was contained inside the over flow box, so we cleaned it up, and cut a curve in the glass to stop any runners... We then got a triangle piece of glass to go on the outside and a square piece for the inside, had all the holes drilled in both pieces. Glued the square bit inside with the spriget in it... and got the triangle and glued that on the out side and that had a bigger hole so that the outside of the spriget could fit through it... Left it for a couple of days, then did a pressure test and then reglued any little leaks that sprung... and wamo the tank was saved and is now set up... to see pics of the tank all set up: http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/a-few- ... 21681.html

  18. hey guys, will an aquaris 2400(aqua one) canister filter be enought flow for the 8ft tank? the tank will be set up using the over flow into the sump and from the sump the canister will pump the water back into the tanks, the sump is fill of media and so is the canister, but will the be enough flow to make the tanks water move fast enough to use all the media, and keep the water movement up... does this make sence? im kinda half asleep still...
