road trip to tauranga?

they are being raised in the shop... i have tauragt the owner how to raise them

i am moving to usa for 6months

sadly i finish work on sunday (last day working at the shop) so i wont get to see what happens

but is that with stand, sump, plubming, filter media etc

well there is another 45 odd eggs there today and dad is still on them so yay

y not buy my tank? 8ft long 2ft wide 55cm high

as i currently work in a shop (last week) i am going to say that when you have on average 200+ fish coming in a week it is easier to have one big order comming in than 10 little orders coming in a day make sence?

yip they are all going well... apart from the ones that go washed over when the tank flooded

yea it did scare me but alls well that ends well oh and to top it off the tank they were in broke so now they are in half a tnak of water ill be taking there tank down to them asap

As most of you know i i am off to america in a few weeks. so last week i moved my fish to a new tank in tauranga and heres how it all went... i started to get all the rocks out of my tank at about 8am... by 8.45am i had used up all the space in my polybox... so i went for a quick drive down to work to get another one and to also pick up 3 turtles for the person looking after my fish. when i get to wotk i get the polybox, the 3 turtles as wel as my gold axolotl (going to the same person) and end up waiting for 1hr 15min for my boss to stop talking to people... pay for the turtles and then off i go back home to finish bagging my fish... so after 2.5hours of bagging fish i finally get on my way.... 2 hours later i get to tauranga and open up the polybox OH NO water every where in the box started rushing through the bags and found one that had lost some water but still had enough for the fish to live *sighs of relef* then as i got the rest of the fish out of the box i found another bag with no water at all and i was like oh *&^% then i started to jump around in the bag so i riped the bag open thew it in the tank... he didnt move so there was another *&^% #$%^ ^#$* and then like a light switch he just ziped off and hide... **sighs or relef again** While all this was going on the turtles were put into there new tank, and the Gold axolotl setteled into his tank with about 10 other axolotls he is 1 of 2 males all the others are girls... sorry for the long long long post

MAF let them go and sale on trade me and then changed there mind and went and conferscated all of them and destroyed them... so sad

when buying from super market etc read the label realy well as some has disinfectan built into them

there ia a new list every week... not month lol... i for one work in a shop but only till the 20th, some time the list wont change for ages then the next week there will be so many change its scary lol

those filter has a min and a max water line the top is ment to be out of water

hey ya... are these the guppies you got off me last month? if so how are they going?? just to let you know they had the same mother but different farthers. the small ones are from my gold male and blond female, the others are from the same female but i dont know who the farther was... got her preggy from the shop. hope that helps a lil bit

i havnt had alot of experince with these fish... but from talkn to some ppl they have said the behaviour can help...but as with every thng this is not 100% venting them is the only real way as brad has said

make the best cave against the front glass so he thnks hes hiding but u can still see him...

i have always been advised and also advise other people that ask when im at work, and its 40L per adult discus so 6 young ones in you tank would be fine but as adults the maths says 5.6 and then you have to take out the driftwood. plants. other fish. filters. heaters etc..... hope that helps

when it comes to keeping eletric fish i have always been told you can NOT mix elephant noses with BGK as the electric pluses interfare with each other.
