    i wonder if the brown/orange is part related to line breeding and or part on the way to albinism. (morph or not the colour is a nice contrast between the two) anyone know if skinks pair for life, or just during the breeding season or even at all? these two are always together, if separated they just stay in their hides :-?

    he's suppose to be in quarantine but anyway someone had a visitor today lol (white one 1.5years, and a one year old, amazing what good food and sunlight do.)

    i just fill tanks with pinheads for the young whistlers, they fatten up quick smart. even better to start them on 5mm crickets if you have them. pricey so best to breed your own if poss. aphids are great also. can start them on houseflies pretty soon to if not already.

    if they look skinny you can worry if you like can take a few days to a week for tail to absorb then theyre into the live stuff.

    newts to and ladybugs. Wonder if ladybugs are poisonous, only one way to find out lol? if not could chuck some in your frog tank, but i suspect the frogs may eat them before they eat all the aphids anyway. but if not ladybugs can eat upto something like 100aphids a day

    not sure about garlic myself i think the aphids will just die indoors. misting/spraying with just water may be enough to get rid or them.. otherwise squash them.

    so a redneck is just a personality morph? albinos and melanistics (black) are being bred in aus

    lots, but mainly sports involving speed. anything with a motor, flying, i want to jump out of a plane. shame ive hardly done any in the past few years back to the frogs, funny how life turns out :lol:

    lol yeah a couple became fiesty, i found i had do be assertive with them or they would take me on no different from mice really, or using any other animal/insect for live food imo.

    i bred rats instead (and mice but rats were better for memory), more in the litter, bigger pinkies, less smell. think thats how it worked. in the end decided it was too much work for what it was worth, but i only had a few turtles back then. oh yeah and a couple of the rats didnt like me :evil: im sure they could sense when the babies were killed.

    one of the big breeders is telling people they can be kept in tropical :roll: works, just a bit to fast
