  3. So now the snails are sorted (i know what i need) i need to start thinking of what i am going to stock.... Im not 100% sure on whether i will be able to keep these corals but i will write a list of what i want and you can tell me if it is possible.... I would like... Mushrooms Zoanthids Leather Coral(s) Brain Coral(s) Hammer Coral(s) Thats what i can think of ATM but what i want to know is: 1. Would i be able to keep those corals in this tank AND 2. What other corals could i keep in this tank?? I am also wanting to have 2 perc clowns and a cleaner shrimp eventualy which im pretty sure will all be sweet, but what do you think about a firefish aswell??? Thanks

  5. This is in the Saltwater section jude   I reckon you should just put up with it, otherwise yea, you will probably have to get the windscreen repair people out to your house ($$$) and then see if they can fix it ($$$)
  6. Nice fish and pics aswell... Put my name down for babys

  15. Yea man that male is Awesome!! Photos just dont do him justice, he woulda been 15cm when i saw him and that was a few months ago
  16. That would be sweet as in my opinion. Just make sure you keep the co2 bubble rate up!!
  17. I took the rock out and gave the aiptasia a bit of a cut and then covered them in vinegar and it has seemed to work. I have just tested the tanks nitrites and they are undetectable!! (aquarium pharmacuticals) So what is the next thing i do. i think i should probably do a 30% ish water change, then get some snails for the tank.... Where do i get snails?? anybody on here have way too many and can send me some??
  18. You know what would be wicked over that tank.... a 150W metal halide  hope your plants come back to life
  19. So sorry to hear about your tank chim. Hope nothing bad happens to it whilst you are away. Are you having someone local come check on it....?
  20. indian fern is good but grows CRAZY under high lighting Hairgrass is a good carpet plant, aslong as you have medium lighting or a very shallow tank Polysperma is the same as indian fern i find Crypts are a great plant. they grow under high, moderate and low light conditions. I have 3 or 4 different types of crypt and i realy love them, i have red wenditii, balansae, plus another couple ones i think... I LOVE tiger lotus, it grows best under high light but can be grown in moderate lighting quite well, it is an awesome looking plant....
  21. well done jono. Angels are cool fish. hope you get some nice offspring But the colour of those angels....  (i dont like koi angels, dont mind me)
  22. If you go to http://www.hydroponics.co.nz You can pick up a 300W stainless steel heater for around $50. They are over $100 in the shops i think. I bought one off that site for my 250L tank and they were awesome with delivery etc. Stainless steel heaters are very hard to break, as they are very solid, AND, they have an external controller so you can adjust the temperature very easily.
