hey i would either use this led http://www.dse.co.nz/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/43eec80e0374e3322741c0a87f990711/Product/View/Z3820 or this led http://www.dse.co.nz/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/43eec80e0374e3322741c0a87f990711/Product/View/Z4230 if i used the first kind how many would i need for a 76x 36 x 36 aprox tank?? and f i used the second how many would i need again. what would be the best size wall plug to use for these and also what size resistors or anything i may need??? as you can tell i dont know alot about power :oops: :oops: thanks **EVIL** :bounce:

hello!! i am planning to wire up a moonlight for my 100L tank. ok so the plan: i will get an old cellphone charger, wire the positive wire to the first resisitor, then the other side of that resistor to the short side of the first led. then the long end to another resistor connected also to another short end(dont go 2 sleep!!!)then carry on that process until i have enough. the last led will thn be wired into the other wire from the plug. if this is correct i will then go and buy the leds and find a charger and then figure out what size resistors i will need by using this http://led.linear1.org/1led.wiz calculator. then i will cover it with heat shrink etc to make it safe if everybody is still confused i will try drawing a picture of it and post it. thanks **EVIL** :bounce:

hey guys in my community tank i have 5 black widow tetras. 3 of them have very fat guts and two look very slim. its almost like three are pregnant females and two are males. are they pregnant, have internal parasites, just very fat or what do you think it is?? one of the Fat ones one of the slim ones not very good pics i know but hopefully someone can help thanks **Evil** :bounce:

hey daryl i bought 2 blue rams back from auckland in the weekend. did my best to find a male and female in a tank of aprox. 10. they are settling in well. hoping they might breed when they grow up but who knows. if i was serious i would have got six but im not worried.sorry i cant be of more help. good luck **EVIL** :bounce:

hello again i have a 12" green neon light that runs off a cigarette lighter for a car. i am wanting a moonlight for my tank and i am wondering if this would be suitable and also if i could cut the car adaptor off and wire it into a plug that i have?? if this is not possible then has anybody here made a good LED moonlight and would be willing to make me one ?? hey mitch. i think you have heard wrong if you think tropicals only last 3 years. some tropicals only live for 3 years yes but alot last much, much longer. i say if you want the colours, and have a lil bit more dosh, and are commited to look after them then go tropicals. you will get great fun out of them and you will be happy you decided 2 go trop. whatever your desicion...hav fun **EVIL** :bounce:

yea i had a search but couldnt really find anything related to what i want......

hi guys in my newest tank i am running a co2 yeast reactor bottle thingy and i have one or two questions about it during the day the plants will use the co2 but in the night time they will create more, thus creating lots of co2 in the water, most probably killing the fish..... what can i do about this??? do i disconnect the co2 bottle at night or do i have an air pump running at night or what??? if i disconnect it the ph will rise which the fish (specially the delicate rams) wont like any help is apreciated **EVIL** :bounce:
