    Hi and welcome :bounce:
  4. I've had a quick look at this site and now I'm wondering if I need a forum  .....it looks so easy
  5. You're welcome. Have a little look on this site...http://www.thinkfish.co.uk/index.html ...at the 'Community Creator'. It's a handy tool but I wouldn't take it as gospel. It will give you an indication of what you can and can't keep and then you can post back on this forum to see what experiences others have had with the same mix.
  6. Hi guppygal Butterfly Rams and Yellow Peacocks are both Cichlids. The Butterfly Ram is a dwarf Cichlid and will be OK with your other fish but will most likely eat any fry that the livebearers may produce, although if there's enough planting some may survive. The Yellow Peacocks need different water parameters and when grown will make a meal of smaller tankmates. I suggest you research the Dwarf cichlids, there are some magnificent fish available, like the Apistogramma family for instance. HTH

  12. I have fond memories of going to places with the folks, doctors, dentists, accountants and the like, and being plopped down in front of a tank to keep me occupied while the oldies talked about grown up stuff. I was fascinated, particularly by the schools of Neon Tetras. When I started working I got into the habit of buying myself something at the end of every year. One year it was an RC car, another year it was an acoustic guitar and on it went. 5 years ago I got myself a 100 litre tank and every year since then my end of year indulgence has been fish related

    Hello

Hi ashley007. Welcome to the forums :bounce:
  14. Congrats on the fry :bounce: The GBAs sound as if they've only recently become free swimming so they're about two weeks old, give or take a day or two. I'd leave them to it and some will survive. Their tankmates shouldn't be too much of a worry but they might get sucked up the filter intake so you might want to cover it with a bit of foam or something, depends on what kind of filtration you have. The BNs are in more danger from the fantail, as you say. I'd move it and leave the rest of the tank to its own devices.
  15. Welcome back Wilson. Sorry, I can't help with your lighting question.
