how do I get a breeding certificate, Ive got over a 100 corydoras sterbai in a tank up to about 3months old...

they definitely look like the coydoras eggs that I breed too, are they sterbai? I have a wee tank of some cory sterbai babies Im raising at the moment too - some are albino sterbai babies with the peach side fins!

Ive bread 8 generations of guppies so far from my original ones, to get larger yellow and black spotted tails and dorsal fins, they still throw odd offspring!.

I breed Cory Sterbai, and after breeding brothers and sisters for a few generations got some albino ones, I have no bronze or other corys, hence no cross breeding. They have nice peach coloured fins, almost good enough to eat!

whqt sort of corys are they? Egg yolk cooked and crushed in a bit of water is what I use for my cory sterbai catfish Watch for water murk. .. . its the first sign of water problems

Algae and plants compete for the available nitrates and other chemical goodies that are in the water. When you have too much light and nitrates then the algae can go out of control So reduce the amount you are wasting when feeding the fish Get a BN or 3 for the inside of the tank Cut the amount of direct sunlight. = Clear water I bought a uv filter, ages ago, I only ever used it when setting up a tank to be sure that I wasn't starting off with a bacterial soup. Haven't used it in years now... Oh if only I knew then what I know now.....

400 litres of saltwater flooded the fishroom(a bedroom converted) the hall, into the laundry and the kitchen. My wife got up in the night and thought the hot water cylinder was leaking. They can be acclimatised to higher temps. into the mid 20s s l o w l y , week by week a degree at a time. Been there done that.

Try live mosquito larvae, live whiteworms ... good quality tucker Continue with the water changes , check the temp of the water going in.

Yea, you can , but be sure to clean them well. Janola. Janola, rinse rinse rinse be sure that they arn't sedimentary rocks,they have the tendancy to break down in the tank making it cloudy over time. If putting rocks in your tank be sure to lift them and vacume under them too. Stuff will build up there!

I've only seen this in my older female fish. 3/4 way through life. hope this helps

Be sure to soak ya wood for a good long time b4 putting it in ya tank. otherwise you'll end up with pee yellow tank ..... fish don't mind but visitors may be confused.

It is their hard pallete clicking , they use it on snails and chewing food.

I've seen them jump , easilycould jump in and out, they also have a powerful suck (seen when sucking snails out of their shells after biting off the point of the snail shell.) They need more protienin their diet to stop/slow them eating the other inhabitants. (I give mine King prawn chopped into little bits) This makes them grow fairly fast too!

I get cheap $6 Fluro inspection lamps with really long leads from bunnings... I get 4-5 at a time, they last 5-6 months blow . I just replace them. Works for me and they are sploshproof , whatever splosh is ha ha But its on the packet!
