Hey guys/girls. Woke up this morning and found some half albino fry in my tank. Theres 3 of them so far. None of which have red eyes. Shes still in labour tho. After these being breed with a half albino male and a full albino would this mean they are morn albino then the rest??? If so what should i do with them now. breed them with there auntys or there sisters????

Ive got albino females that have had fry...... I can get some in too.

Opps and no none of the babies would be albino as it is ressive.They would carry the gene though.And if ya grow the fry up and breed them with mumor new albino swordtails you would get 25% change or something of getting albino swordtails.

Where abouts do you live? I'd just look around at all the local fish shops ask them if they have any or ask them if they could get some in for me.

Hiya. I put some twisting valve in the convict tank. First off it was fine started growing realy well.Never had a problem with them eating plants but then they just ripped it all to peaces in like 2 days. They hungry or just being cichlids???

Hiya.Ive got 2 ice cream containers with White worms in them and i was just wondering if i should be giving them more air then just and open lid. Say should i put pin holes at the bottom????? I normaly just put some water in and make the soil wet and then leave it ,is this alright????

koool.Thanx for that.Might give that a try. The 1/4 albinos are breedign with different females so tahts alright.With the fry from that i will breed with another line. My females are getting fatter. HOpe they drop some albinos.

So when picking the next line go with the least in-breed fish??? or do i take the risk with keeping the albino males if any com though???

it could be a good idea to breed our albinos with just half casters because with such a limited line then we wouldnt be interbreeding as much . Being better off dow the lineI might be ordering in 8 more females soon so i will see how they go. My 1/2 males are realy horny which is good. The females dont see to be getting much fatter but my males have only just staerted with the breeding thing so i will see how it goes. I am still trying to breed my b/n too so i can get some more money to get more albinos. LOL i love albinos now.

Aqua plus is pretty good. I just use water ager lol. I got told by an old friend that if ya only do a 20% water chagne then i shouldnt realy worry about it.I had been doing taht for a while with no deaths. But i got water ager anyway.

Hiya. Just an update. I got the half albino babyies breeding with the new albino females. Hopfully i will get some albino fry. Mgith be ordering 8 new females from someone and maybe they have been fertilised by his stock (sneaky) Worked for me last time, its just that the fry got eatin LOL

Might want to have a chat to holiwood. Maybe there is some on the list of fish coming in our fish that can be ordered.

I put some baby albino guppies into a net in a smal com tank. And she jumped in and ate the lot. Mmmm way to go female betta. I learnt my lesson. Had great plans for the little things too. btw where Erick Wilson?

Hiya all. Long time since ive posted anything. Ive got this green elgae in my convict tank that is preading over the whole bottom of the tank. Also all over my Indian Fern. And i tell you the stuff stinks too. I took the infected plants out and the whole room smelt of it. Convicts care yo might say? Not a care in the world!! They are starting to breed again..... LOL. So any ideas would be great thanks.
