I have just tested my water and had some inconsitences.
Using the aquarium pharmaceuticals nitrate test kit it said I have zero nitrates, which is darn good for fish only. I then decided to retest this result using a near brand new nitrate test kit (only one test done) and it said I have 15.
Both test kits are aquarium pharmaceuticals, both used the same water and syringe to extract water, both had, I believe clean test kits (well to the best of my ability).
The only difference between the two is they were approximately 7 minutes apart in testing.
Could the nitrate level in my test jar have risen from 0 to 15 in 7 minutes. It is a 60 ml shot glass.
Any ideas, should I be emailing Mr and Mrs aquarium pharmaceuticals?
