Where can i source large amounts of tonic salt?

not the small packs in the shops but large sacks

i've a 20 kilo sack of raw sea salt if thats any good

is that ok for freshwater set ups

Salt is just that,,Salt..All plain salt or cooking , rock is just not containing any additives..

Bulk .......Bin in...... is where i get mine..Or simular stores..But little difference to super market per kg........Phill

If you want to be pedantic, no it isn't. Table salt is sodium chloride, there is also low sodium table salt which is, iirc potassium chloride(Slightly radioactive BTW cool!) Then there's sea salt which also I believe has all the calcium, magnesium etc that is in seawater.

Believe we are talking sea salt..But interesting tho..Read about florish..For plants and the problems black beard algae that keeps returning..Needs hunting a bit further.......Phill

If you want a kg of the stuff "Cerebos" Rock Salt in a blue and white bag was the cheapest by far in my area (no Bin In) from Countdown. I rang Cerebos first to check it had no additives and they said it was as pure as you can get. Had other brands spouting pure & natural 250gm bags for the same price and dearer as the kg!
