what do people do say at Xmas time if your away for 2 or 3 weeks

Is there a prefered "slow release" food that can be used or do you rely on friends

Thanks

If longer than 10 - 14 days I put doses in a daily pill container then get house sitter to empty dose into tank on alternate days. Also hide all other fish food.

I like Caryls idea with the ration boxes. Your fish will survive on 1/2 their normal feeding fine for 2 weeks and it reduces the chances of anything going wrong with the tank water.

My fish aren't allowed to get fussy ;)

thanks for the help

What would be the longest you could leave them without food... just that it helps with the planing of trips away

Looks like a weekend is fine but would say easter be ok? seems a bit long to me?

I agree with Carly,

Although if you have Nothobranchius they may be a little thin on your return, a good feed up will have them right as rain in know time.
