AMAZONIAN
Are you keeping a weekly photo record of the fish Tim? I could be worth the effort.
Alan
Tim, you forgot "THEM" Be interesting if they colour up as a male and a female. If it is a male, you may be able to breed with it as you have lost you proper male, the one bodied one. Alan

If it/they are bi-gender would be interesting to see if it/they can "Self repoduce"
PENEJANE
Look at the picture closely people The fish may have two heads but only one body which suggest that it will only have one lot of sexual organs so it will be either M or F not both. Sorry to burst anyones bubbles lol :bounce:
fishboi
The fish may have two heads but only one body which suggest that it will only have one lot of sexual organs so it will be either M or F not both. but then again some people are born with both reproductive system but they only have one body. Keri Anne
Exactly... and being an egg-layer if it develops both "he-bits" & "she-bits" it should be able to reproduce by itself.

AquaNut
Hi. I have been studying the eating habits of the fish/s and its really interesting because both heads eat. However its a push me, pull me affair when targeting bbs. One head tries to flick sideways but to no avail!!! Hence they can only eat when bbs unwitinly swims right past a nose. The killi is a very slow grower but if I ever get it to a breeding size before it dies Im definately going to try and breed it in a small tank of females. I will take another photo in the next couple of days and see if macro will pick anything new up. Thanks for the interest. I will keep you posted. Cheers Aquanut

Luke*
When you say put it in a tank full of females...does this mean it is developing into a male?
Alan
Saw it in the weekend, and it hasn't grown much at all. No gender difference is noticeable. Tim did say that IF it got big enough, But I can see where you are coming from tho Luke. The way it is growing I'd say at least another year.
