Hi there, this is my first post.

I was sent a link to this page by a guy on trademe who sells aquarium plants but could not help me with what I wanted.

Here is the original question that I asked him.....

Hi there, do you have or have access to Aponogeton madagascariensis? I

believe it is called Madagascar fern and may have been called Aponogeton

fenestralis or Lace-leafed plant.

I am keen to buy some, I understand it is in NZ but tricky to come by.

Cheers.

Please, oh great learned ones...rescue me. :D

That's Paul Parsons. I've seen some ads lately on TRADEME.

I've never seen the plant in NZ. See:

Hi there Ocar... Glad you found the fishrrom.

A warm welcome to you.

I too was looking for the same plants some time ago, or what I commonly called the "Madagascaa Lace" plant, but had no succsses. A chap in the States said he could help, but due to import restrictions... it didn't happen.

Regards,

Bill (Pegasus)

It's actually Pauls wife Debbe on Trademe.

I won todays auction and she has been extremly helpful.

Paul is too busy, but is helping her with answers.

I'm really looking forward to getting the load of plants I bought today, to plant out my new aquarium.

I don't have any Madagasariensis. I've been trying to get it on and off for 5-6 years now. So far everyone who has promised to get it for me has been a slacker. I can't believe that not one has come up with the goods!

Good luck finding some. If you ever have any real success getting one, let me know cause I sure want some.
