Even .003 off is fine for a brackish tank as long as it's somewhere vaguely half seawater that'll be just fine for most brackish fish. I've also seen a lot of suggestions to vary the salinity with each water change and a lot of people that go from near full seawater to full freshwater depending on their mood.
