dee_jay_01
Hey Billaney how old do they have to be before they start breeding and how many are recommended before we start breeding them. we have 2 that are about 6 - 7cms long but dont have there bristles yet. Any Info you can give me would be appreciated, or if you know of any good sites to find info on would be better.

Any Info you can give me would be appreciated, or if you know of any good sites to find info on would be better. mine were about 9 months when i got my first batch of eggs , i had 2 males and 5 females in my tank but only one of each is needed. Give them somewhere dark and safe, with no preditors , feed them well and they will do the rest , pretty much the same as your standard bristlenose
HummingBird
Mine were a little younger than that, just over 7cm long and I had 3 females and one male in the tank. They had a 2ft tank to themselves and chose to breed in a tight little spot inside a resin castle. They got courgette basically every day and pleco tabs, spirulina discs, etc as well.
