hmmm not so sure. there's not too much difference between a hoeksemai and tortuosa. no reason why it couldnt be a tort.

They are actually very different. The radial coralites appear to be regular in size (hard to tell with all the new axials forming), tortuosa are irregular, also in hoeks they are more nariform in shape than torts, and are linear down the skeleton.

It's hard to tell what it is from the frag, but I would be confident in saying it's not a tort.

Either way, it's a nice coral.

Tank is looking pretty sharp cracker. must be top 10 now

would have to agree - she's looking mint cracker. dont worry about cyano, wait for your new rock to cycle and tank settle down and its gonna kick arse. at least you're getting nice acro colours! :( or have you become a photoshop master like the rest of them :lol:

yeah uber is a good one pies :D .

yeah the corralites does look more like the hoek.

it must be thatim so used to seeing people on RC saying look at my tort blah blah blah and posting up corals that look like crackers.

still like everyone said nice coral no matter what the name

Re-built entire Right hand side of tank yesterday.

Another 15 or 20 kilo of LR added, (Thanks to Skuzza)!

(Plus another Stream)! Yeah....!!!

It has completed tank now.
