Ira
Picked up in Christchurch... A zoanthid cluster... Torch coral... Octopus coral, which I think is AKA frogspawn? And this guy's name is Floyd. A red fairy Basslet Pseudoanthis kashiwae or something. And just because he insisted on getting in the way of the pictures... And, does anyone know where to get plastic hoseclamps for 25+mm hoses? I've looked everywhere...

Ira
nice pics ira, might want to get some joes juice though Organism had some, I decided not to get it because smothering them in kalk seems to be working...Though they're reproducing as fast as I can' kalk them. Annoying little bastards. I got that one on the zoos just before work and a couple others.

chimera
fantastic coloured zoo's ira, how about a pic of the whole tank as it stands now?
Ira
I'll try to get one tomorrow. It's looking like a bit of a mess. I had to dig the rock with my anemone out and I put it on the sandbed. So all the rocks are scattered around and the new corals are just sitting on the sand to give them a bit of time to acclimate to the lights. But...yeah, tomorrow. Brianemone
whats the purple little head poking out??? baslett??? still got the red algae, is it going at all??
Ira
That's my strawberry Basslet. The cyano is basically gone, hasn't been more than a light haze in a few spots in over a year.
Brianemone
thought so. i meant the red macro algae
Ira
Yup, still got it. Doesn't look quite as nice with the 14K bulbs as the 10K. The 14K don't have nearly as much red in them so the macroalgae looks more like a reddish brown instead of a bright red. Seems to grow pretty steadily, not very fast though.
