reef
Father Banggai let all the babies go last night and spat them all in the anemone. So far I counted about 30 babies, so all looks good. Feeding on rotifers and will add brine shrimp in a few days. It was pure luck that i got a breeding pair. Placed them in my reef about a two months ago and within a few weeks he was holding the eggs. cookie extreme
i did see them today. look awsome, full fat bellies on all of them. and they really like the fake coral for security (so no more rude remarks about fake corals as there seems to be at least one good use for them) may be i should get one for my reef, would add a splash of orange. hmm

chimera
rotifiers then brine shrimp according to his first post. i assume (and certainly hope) it's not fully grown adult brine shrimp food as they will choke on it and die. http://www.reefs.org/library/article/f_marini.html bangaii's are so cool. well done reef, nice job so far, very impressed! keep us updated. lduncan
They need a diet high in HUFA's, so the brineshrimp have to be gut loaded with phyto or other HUFA source. Layton

reef
Got a great photo of the male Banggaii holding the eggs? Could be the only photo in the world showing this. It was in the middle of the day when I witnessed him getting the eggs from the female. Poor male, this is his 4th batch in 5 months.
