kiwis
I've got a tank which i'm slowly turning into my first marine aquarium. I'm thinking about putting a glass panel along the back and having the sump in the main tank. Is there any real reason I shouldn't do this? Also what size sump should you have for vs the size of the main tank? working out if I have room.
livingart
Yes that will work it is how the smaller RedSea tanks are set up, leave enough room to fit your hand in for cleaning etc. I always try for a minimum of half the main tank size but anything will work just more volume of water on total system the bigger you go
Adrienne
How big is the tank? You are welcome to come look at my all in one Red Sea Max C-250 if you want to see how it is set up and I can talk you through the pros and cons imo. livingart
