I've never had discus before, so starting small with only one at this stage.I've also heard that turquoise discus is a "hardier" one than some of the other ones that are single colour, so I'd prefer one that is more adaptable even though the water in my tank is in very good condition.Please let me know if you have any for sale and how much they cost? Adrienne Posted January 25, 2016 Report Share Posted January 25, 2016 No one species of discus is hardier than others - it all boils down to quality feeding and optimum conditions.Try New Pupuke Aquarium Centre in Northcote, Ron has good quality fish at reasonable prices.
