snookie
Thanks but that's for beardies ..I am worried that i have 2 males and don't want to stress either out with domination issues etc..
alanmin4304
It works for all lizards apart from tuataras. They don't have the hemipenes you are looking for.
Dougstark
Maybe I am missing something, but I thought that the red chest tends to mean a male in water dragons. Also if they are a similar size and age I would also say both male as females are smaller than males.
livingart
I have a female with quite a red chest
snookie
That's what I thought but I have been told that females can show some red on the chest . :dunno: , basically I have no intention of breeding these , but I will sadly have to part with one if both males , Im quite attached to both though.... karltoday
I would hold the dragon flat and lift up his tail from behind, I could never tell from this angle. Straight away looks like a male to me, apart from the red belly they have a bigger head, white around the beard. Females are usually quite bland compared to the males. Get a photo of the dragon itself :cofn:
