reuben.a
nope. only exotic lizards are blue tongues, water dragons bearded dragons, leopard geckos, shinglebacks (near impossible to get) and some new ones that surprised a few people recently were the cunningham skinks, where a lot of young ones have been listed on trademe. HarrysHerps
Surprised we didn't have these ones brought over in the early days considering how popular they are in ausi. Have any of the older members heard of them being here?
sneaky2
Heard of them way back in the day n also a couple of years ago.but haven't seen them, so don't know if true or not.
HarrysHerps
Yea probably just brought over as pets and never bred. But there's always an excess of rumors in our reptile trade...
FACEAnthrax
My father used to tell me that when we were kids there were frillies living near the sheltered beach our family used to visit, and how they would get up on their back legs and run. I can't remember ever seeing them (would have been too young at the time) but believe that they probably were there at some point, dunno what other kind of large lizard in NZ would get up on their hind legs to run. Would love some to be in NZ their frills are awesome
