si_sphinx Posted July 4, 2014 Report Share Posted July 4, 2014 Adding corals isn't adding bio load. Just fish, snails, crabs etc will affect your bio load. kinnadian Posted July 6, 2014 Report Share Posted July 6, 2014 Live rock is the main form of filtration, nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria need live rock to live on (as well as sand). The amount of rock you have will probably be significantly below most people's recommendations. Once those clowns grow up (3" each) they will be producing a lot of waste. They're animals and I need to think of how they grow, where they'd prefer to grow and at the same time have the whole thing look nice, so pretty new to me.
