camtang
This time last year I had no idea what was going on with my cactus. This year I know better: My cactus is the one of the few things in my garden I actually care about, so it gets fish water every now and then. David R
Very cool, the big one I planted at Mums a few years back is covered in buds too. Shame the flowers are nocturnal.

camtang
Haha, you are not the first person to say that.I have a few scatered about the yard, but this is the only one that has properly taken. I did not realsie the flowers were nocturnal. Wow, that is an amazing flower. Thats what I thought last year. I didn't have a camera at the time and by the time I had it had dropped off. ( 3 days from memory) So as soon as I saw the bit of fluff growing I knew I had to take a day to day journal of it.

Jaide
I've been looking for a zig zag cactus for years - there are none in Wellington. Does anyone have a cutting they could send to me - I'd be happy to pay for all costs :bounce:
