David R
Yeah mostly fun, the clean up is starting to drag though... I'm spending a lot of time in Ruakaka over summer, so might drop by sometime then. Cool, give me a call/text, or a pm/email if you've lost my number. calculator
Loving those plecs, wish I had the money to get some of them.
David R
Cheers, I'm surprised at how much some of them have grown. The whiptail is about 3-4 years old, it didn't take that long to get to that size too, don't think it has grown much in the past 18 months. Old tank is 140x65x48cm, so not quite 5', and its going to be up gor sale in the not-too-distant future.
Fruju
I keep thinking I should have bought that whiptail when you put him up for sale ages ago haha
David R
Yeah I was surprised I had a hard time selling it, kinda glad no one wanted him!! Couple of full tank shots, the plecs have disappeared and the tank looks nice and empty...

Godly3vil
:iag: a couple of huge uruguaynsis swords would look great in there.
David R
I think it would look great planted up. It probably would, but it would require me to go swimming to plant them!!
henward
royals would immediately destroy them with in a night! plants wont survive in a tank when there are royals me thinks. i found that i had a bit of a BBA problem - one royal wiped it out in 48 hours. they just rasp anything edible
hovmoller
That's got to be one happy aro.. all that space in the upper part of the tank all to himself (or herself) Nice threat displays by two male Geophagus in that last picture. I'm sure you'll have baby geos soon :bounce:
David R
Quite likely, I think there are four males and two females after watching their display yesterday. I might need a few predatory catfish to help pick off the excess fry...

David R
shame enough people [me included] weren't keen to fork out for the ornate pims they were looking at bringing in a few years back...
