henward
My tank build is going to be as 'sealed' as possible. lids for sump, tank are all gonna be almost 'holeless' and totally diverting as much of the evaporation and smell as possible back into the tank. So no corner holes, i want to have 'handles' on the lids so ic an remove them. Will araldise stick strongly on the glass. I am just thinking of getting drawer metal handle things from hardware stores. and sticking them on the lids. The araldise will not be used for anything else, just the lid handles. smidey
there is a loctite product for that i think, i used it years ago for sticking cabinetry handles to mirrored cabinet doors and it worked. http://www.loctiteproducts.com/products.shtml
Hamstar99
is it that Araldite super strength stuff? Should be fine. Just got to watch some of those 2 pot epoxies on some plastics. Metal to glass should be sweet though.
Ira
I don't think it will stick strongly, but I think it might work for handles. But...Why not use silicone? We know that sticks.
F15hguy
:iag: why not silicone, cheaper than araldite as far as I know
