David R
Probably the price is the best indication...... but even at a small size the EBs are quite different looking; If you look back thru the thread there may be some pics of "normal" fry. http://www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/view ... p?p=951041

calculator
id like to know how to tell if it is a blue gene JD I have been lead to believe that the blue gene is a recessive gene, so if it only has one of the blue genes then it doesn't show, you only see a different colouration if it has both of the genes. Or that is what I have been told, I might be wrong.
Duncan7
You wont see any difference in a JD with only one blue gene, will look normal. You will have to trust the person that says that it has the gene. As above i believe the gene is recessive so you will need two copies for it to be expressed.
