Dachende
I've got a singular cherry barb who has seemed to make best friends with my rainbow shark , they both chase the other fish around the tank all day . Won't tolerate any other fish coming close to the log they have co-inhabited for the last 6 months
Sophia
my 6 adults are chirpy and perky, a little bit of chasing but nothing aggressive that I've seen. They were in with the CPDs for a while and I would say they chased them more than they chase each other.

F15hguy
 :sml1: yeah, it was not just on one day, it was more like they went on a 2 week long rampage culminating with a date with trademe. they watched it happening ended up getting a large breeding net to seperate them until they could find a buyer. all problems have now ceased im hoping the honey gourami i sold them doesn't turn evil now
Caryl
Never heard of cherry barbs doing that and mine were always very peaceful
alanmin4304
Most barbs can get nippy. It probably depends on the fish. Like humans I guess, some are laid back and others agro.
F15hguy
its reminding me of the evil neons we have been getting recently. maybe they are getting annoyed with the mpi quarantine conditions
alanmin4304
Easier than they used to be---3 weeks instead of 6. Buy NZ made.
lmsmith
My parents had cherry barbs who did a similar thing. They can all get a bit nippy, but sometimes I guess the band together and get a bit extra aggressive.
