Sheepsnana
Not trying to be the grammar police, just trying to make sense of your question. Are you trying to ask what colours will stand out better with black sand?

Hamstar99
Any colour will stand out more than if you had a lighter stand. So black will make any colour stand out. If you want to make your colours stand out more add lighting to match you fish colours.
Sheepsnana
I've found the LEDs brought out the fish colours really well (Fishguy will agree), The orange strip on my Kribensis went blood red. (BTW, this has happened on a couple more now :happy1: )

(BTW, this has happened on a couple more now :happy1: ) yeps definately, as long as they don't all turn blue looking good witht he current set up though. Darker substrates and lotsa plants make just about any fish colour up nicely, also when they are healthy they are a lot prettier, although I find Albino kribs go a lot yellower on a lighter more grey/brown base.... Sheepsnana
yeps definately, as long as they don't all turn blue :smot: They're going green. :an!gry The reds and blues are still on and going, but the greens are brighter. Barnacle
:smot: They're going green. :an!gry The reds and blues are still on and going, but the greens are brighter. Look at getting a manual dimmer for your leds. The greens are far too brigh on those strips, and so are the blues. You can get pretty close to a 'white' by using a manual dimmer.
