Duke 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2005 I have just added a Blue Tang to my tank and the dan stark is attacking him. There is lots of caves and holes but the tang just trys to hid and the stark finds him and attacks agin. The stark leave my little clowns along as long as the stay near the top of the tank in the corner, they seem ok, will the tang and the stark sort it out? 4ft tank. 2 x clowns 1 x Blue tang 1 x stark damsel Also added a boxing shrimp looks cool. Kermit 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2005 Damn Damsels, i had the same thing when i added any fish in tank after the Damsel, in the end i yanked him and put him in his own tank and put him back in the main tank after i had all the fish i wanted in there. My opinion is Damsels are a real pain in the A. If you can catch him without stressing the others (especially the Tang) and find a temporary home or another home all together that'd be great. Happy fishing. Kermit

Duke 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2005 It is a red banded coral shrimp - very cool. A good size and is feeding well. I feed him some shrimp tonight. Just put it on a rock and he found it.
SteveA 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2005 It it happens again try putting a mirror in front of the tank. The troublemaker(s) can then take their ire out on their own reflection. I have done this to distract incumbants from a new arrival and ended up with even the new arrival out with the other fish attacking its own image. ukka4wg6 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2020 Thanks everyone, well today Mr Tang has found his home and bad boy starky keeps out. Mostly we used CAMO 4000 & 6000 - MZFRCM-XXXX these products fro fishing which is light weight and easy to carry.
