Caryl
There was a knock on the door this afternoon and it was the owner of the garage where we get the Kia serviced. He had passed Grant on the road last evening (he was heading to Kaikoura and Grant was heading back) and he noticed one of Grant's headlights had blown. So he turned up with a replacement bulb, delivered to our door! Grant had noticed the headlight had gone when he pulled up in front of the garage and noticed one side of the reflection was missing. He had planned to go and buy a replacement on Monday but now will not have to. to Jim. For those who are wondering how he knew it was Grant... The aerials give it away (as well as the personalised plate)
Sheepsnana
Nice! Our mechanic is a bit like that, it pays to get one that you can trust not to screw you over. If you manage to find one that goes the extra mile, it's awesome!
Zev
That is not a very good photo of the hedgehogmobile - you need to post one where you can see all the aerials better!
Adrienne
hmmmmmmmmmm Do none of those cars fit in the garage?
Zev
:rotf: Oh - you have never seen their garage? The Chrysler lives in the garage, the younger cars are relegated to survive out in the elements!
Adrienne
I thought the chrysler and the mx both fitted in there, hence my comment. I was sure the photo showed enough space for two - obviously not.
Caryl
Errr, no they don't  The only room in our supposedly 2 car garage (plus workshop) is taken up by the 1928 Chrysler. It edged out the MX5. We are about to get a carport built
Sophia
so the garage clean out came to a halt? :spop:
Caryl
No, they took away a full 6 cubic metre skip but there is still a distinct lack of space in there! It doesn't help that Grant is too crook to do anything more in there at the moment
jim r
Are you sure the chrysler is in there ? Did you actually manage to find it after the " :rotf: clean up :rotf: " Show them the picture from the clean up post. :gigl:

ally07
For those who are wondering how he knew it was Grant... The aerials give it away (as well as the personalised plate) Do you get Sky in that car?? :sml2:
Caryl
No, he's too tight to pay the subscription :slfg:
amtiskaw
Is that a cat detecting van? Can I purchase a fish licence from Grant?
Caryl
No to both questions sorry 8) Most are for his work, plus some are amateur radio aerials. The others cover police, ambulance, commercial services, PRS service, GPS tracking, HF radio (used by shipping and international services) and stuff. amtiskaw
Speaking of good service, I bought a couple of things in separate Trademe auctions from Redwood Aquatics. Debbie refunded the shipping on the second item without me asking
