jamosfish
Does anyone know how to calculate the flow rate in 25mm and 32mm pipe? Gravity only over a drop of 1 - 1.2m Thanks James
GrahamC
Yeah, get a bucket and measure how much water gets moved in a set period of time. Otherwise I guess you could get a relative flow rates by comparing the cross sectional areas. Assume frictionless tubing. Water acceleration will be the same according to Newton. alanmin4304
If you double the diameter you get four times the flow if that is any help.
