The point in this tank is that it is a blackwater biotope for Apistogrammas. If you don't like it, and can't appreciate the fact that I am trying to do my best to reproduce these fishes natural habitat as best I can, then keep your comments to yourself. Don't bother posting on this thread again.

I feel a little early Easter humour is perfect in this situation...

Moderator: "Who shall we release to you, blueether or Barabas?"

Angry Fishroom Mob: "Give us Barabas! Give us Barabas!"

Moderator: "So what shall we do with blueether?"

Angry Fishroom Mob: "Crucify Him! Crucify Him!"

Moderator: "Why? What crime has he committed?"

Angry Fishroom Mob: "He has taken sarcasm too far! Crucify Him Crucify Him!"

Moderator: "So be it. I wash my hands of you blueether..."

She is doing a brilliant job. I don't think that she lost a lot because most of them were stuck to the leaf :D

Her colouration is extremely unusual - she is bright yellow with a very very faint black stripe on her side and a black spot on each side like a female agassizii. The females of two previous pairs that I kept a while ago (one of the pairs last year that died and the one ages ago from Redwoods) that spawned kept the same patterning - bright yellow with a dark black stripe.
