I used selleys glass silicone, and it suggests 72 hours to cure, and 1 week for use in aquariums :dunno: the same..i patch the bottom not repalce the bottom.. ive reglue 200 L tanks before left for 24 hours ..clean and full with water ...they still running... i use silicone in the automoive ,,glueing sumps etc..in haft ahour you can fill with oil and drive the car away with out any worrys ..yes they say it cures in 72 hours to get full strength ..but it has seal up in haft in hour.. s 24 hours fine..
