Labour Weekend in Napier

Bruce,

Seems the Palmerston North club hasn't received any info

on the upcoming big weekend. Maybe you don't have the

latest postal address for us?

Anyway, can you send me the details, to my home at:

15 Rata Street,

Palmerston North

and I'll make sure people see it at the meeting on Wednesday.

PNAS is looking at making the trip and will want to get on top of

it soon so we can organise accomodation and so forth. Several

of us will be there and are looking forward to it.

Thanks, in advance,

Andrew.

Neither did Marlborough but I think it was sent to an old address and not Napier's fault. Not only did we change secretary but the new secretary then moved house! We don't need more info though I don't think as Bruce emailed us the basics. If there is any other stuff being sent, please send it to me, 8a Faulkland Dr. Blenheim

Oh! Caryl! I forgot I never got back to you! Sorry.:) Looks like we'll probably be leaving here early in the morning, probably 8-9ish. We'll be getting there really early, but I'm sure we can find something to do to kill time. Going to be a long day, hope we can buy something nice to make up for it.;)

We have even further to travel than you but have to leave later as the only ferry we could get onto was the Lynx which gets into Wgtn around lunchtime.

Obviously you are happy heading off by yourself and will have plenty of time to find your way if you get lost. Mind you, there aren't that many roads to choose from are there?

See you there!

Hmmm...Oh, guess I didn't mention it, I thought I did. The reason for the change in plans is that my wife is going to come. With her coming we can't stay overnight because someone's gotta be at home to take care of the kids if we did that. Kids being 3 cats, a dog, 3 birds and 4 tanks.:) She knows how to get to Napier and wants to have more time there. Hopefully we'll see you there, though.:)

Didn't realise there was a pot luck dinner organised. Is this, along with the auction, being held at the school hall too? If so, are there cooking (or food heating) facilities? Sorry if I have been given this information but I have gone through all I can find (we never did get the original stuff Lisa sent) and can't find it mentioned.

Hi Everyone

Yes there is a Pot Luck Dinner on Saturday Night before the Auction

This is for All visitors and local club members

Visitors are not required to bring anything, good opportunity to catch up with everyone.

Sorry for the confusion

Hi Bruce

If you send any further information about the weekend please send it to me as I have the task of organising the trip.

Like some of the other clubs correspondence seams to end up in the wrong hands and gets delayed or missed completely.

Adress: M.A.Minchington

YIKES! We are booked on the Lynx and it has just broken down. They say they hope it will be ready by that weekend but I hope that means it is running on the Friday. I will ring the Interislandline and ask if we should re-book on the Aratere or Arahura.

Folks,

Being as slack as I am, I just started organising somewhere

to stay for the saturday night of Labour Weekend.

Kennedy Park is full, except for camping sites.

The Nurses hostel thingy is also full.

Other options are being explored. People are suggesting

Havelock North but that's a bit far out for me...

So, if you haven't sorted yourself out a place to stay, best

you get onto it ASAP.

Andrew.
