this time i didnt feed before taking pics:D

the other day just before david came i fed a bunch of worms and prawns:D didnt help

THis one, no feeding for 6 hours:D so water is perfectly clear

in fact, posting in on Arofanatics to gauge potential, i get alot of

"very good potential comments" from experienced keepers, due to the already dark finnages and base scale colour ( as what king said also - though at first thought it was a sales pitch untill i asked what to look for in a good specimen) and apparently, dark scales, fins and red lips from young, also early colouration whcih mine apparently has. all good signs, 2 months, another update:D

dont know the name from mulan:D

brutus seemed fitting, he is quite aggressive to anything that goes on the top third of the tank esepcially when he can smell any type of food.

colours coming along nicely - spirulina seemed to be helping the blue hues on the scales and general tone has become darker towards a maroon. 70% of the scales now have a good orangy reddish rim on them.
